Compliance Manager for Airworthiness Standards

Key Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Department Director, develops and continuously improves the compliance monitoring program for airworthiness standards to ensure conformity with the regulatory requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Company’s internal standards, and international standards such as IATA (IOSA) and ICAO.

Ensures the development and maintenance of documentation related to compliance monitoring of airworthiness standards, including aircraft maintenance programs, and ensures continuous compliance with company requirements, regulatory requirements, and aircraft/component manufacturers’ guidelines.

Incorporates human factors considerations into the development, implementation, and auditing of procedures and processes related to aircraft airworthiness.

Develops an annual audit plan covering internal and external audits in the area of airworthiness to regularly verify compliance with airworthiness standards.

Maintains personal qualification through appropriate recurrent and, if necessary, additional training.

Ensures implementation of IOSA requirements and national legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in relation to compliance monitoring of airworthiness standards.

Conducts internal audits to prepare for the IOSA audit in the area of airworthiness.

Provides regular reports to the Department Director regarding compliance with airworthiness standards.

Coordinates with heads of operational departments to ensure effective execution of processes and procedures related to maintaining airworthiness.

Manages the process of timely notification of non-compliances identified during audits, ensures responsible parties are informed, and coordinates and monitors the implementation of effective corrective actions and closure of findings.

Assesses the potential impact of supervisory, other external audits, and the IOSA audit on the Company’s operations and takes necessary actions to implement effective measures to mitigate risks.

Maintains databases related to airworthiness compliance monitoring.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil aviation, including at least 3 years in the field of airworthiness management or aircraft maintenance

Higher education

Internal auditor certificate (Quality Management System or aviation auditor)
