Aircraft Captain

Key Responsibilities:

Assesses meteorological and aeronautical conditions at the departure and destination airports, as well as alternate airfields, and makes the decision to proceed with the flight in accordance with regulatory documents governing flight operations, ensuring the timely and safe departure of the aircraft.

Personally inspects the external condition of the aircraft, reviews the aircraft‘s technical logbook, and signs off on flight-related documents in accordance with internal rules and procedures to ensure aircraft readiness for flight.

Prepares the flight deck, performs necessary calculations considering weather and runway conditions, and manages the aircraft and crew during the flight in compliance with the company’s internal rules and procedures to ensure flight safety.

Monitors the proper functioning of the flight data and voice recorders in accordance with internal procedures to ensure their uninterrupted operation.

From the moment of assuming duty, throughout the flight, and until chocks are placed at the parking stand, maintains communication with air traffic controllers and other aircraft, responds to ATC requests in accordance with radio communication procedures, ensuring continuous situational awareness on assigned radio frequencies.

Conducts post-flight debriefings with the crew, provides feedback, and discusses any observations in line with internal rules and procedures to prevent and minimize crew errors.

Requirements:

Higher education in aviation or a certificate from an Aviation Training Center confirming successful completion of training and issuance of a Commercial Pilot License (CPL).

Valid ATPL(A) – Airline Transport Pilot License.

A minimum of 3,000 flight hours (may be reduced by the Director of Flight Operations in accordance with the Operations Manual Part A).

Knowledge of international civil aviation standards and recommended practices (ICAO, IATA, EASA).

Aviation English at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
